Get ready for June 7-9: Azure Passes, technical skills

Hello Climate Hacker!

 

Next week, we invite you to dedicate 2 days to hacking the climate - by solving one (or more!) of three real-world sustainability challenges. Starting from today, we’ll update you on a daily basis to help you to get prepared. Some updates:

  1. Don't forget to request access to our Climate Hackathon team on Teams by sending email to ce@macsimum.no. You also can find a teammate/team there!

  2. We come up with Azure Passes (free credits used for the cloud computing services from Microsoft) for the participants. If your team is going to use Azure (that’s smart!), please comment in the corresponding thread of the General channel of the Climate Hackathon team on Teams.

  3. Make sure you have time to fully experience and participate the hackathon between Tuesday June 7th at 10:00 CEST and Thursday June 9th at 16:00 CEST by blocking your calendar

  4. To solve a challenge, you need tech skills. Gain them by going through the carefully gathered set of learning modules here: https://aka.ms/cloud-challenge. If you complete all modules - you participate in the prizes raffle.

  5. On our #selfie channel on Teams, you can now download a personal banner for the Climate Hackathon!

Tomorrow, we announce more details about the challenges, and announce some extra prizes for the participants!
